Itinerary

While enjoying a complimentary breakfast aboard, we will sail west from Key West, past Boca Grande National Bird Sanctuary and Marquesas Key atoll. Our voyage continues across Rebecca Channel to the most western keys, the Dry Tortugas. During the transit to the park our onboard naturalist will give you an orientation about the area and the national park's surroundings. Passengers will disembark at Fort Jefferson, located on Garden Key, and have an option to join a 40-minute guided tour of the fort. You may enjoy your lunch, which is included in the fare, ashore in the picnic area. You may want to take advantage of the swimming, snorkeling, ( snorkel gear may be borrowed free of charge from the Yankee Freedom II ) beach walking, exploring, birding, and the flora and fauna of this pristine island. After reboarding in mid-afternoon we will depart, arriving back in Key West at approximately 5:30 p.m.

DIRECTIONS

Take Florida Turnpike South to Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 South to Key West take right as you enter the island onto Roosevelt Ave. (this is still Route 1)   continue through 3 traffic lights and take right onto Palm Ave. (Garrison Bight Marina) Follow through 3 traffic lights and take right onto Margaret St. Follow to foot of street where you will find the Key West Seaport and the Yankee Fleet.
